This four-piece draws from a wide range of genres: from psychedelic soul, funk, indie, hip hop, prog and rock – to Brazilian sounds of the 60s. Vocalist/keyboardist Bardo Martinez, guitarist Carlo Arevalo, bassist Eduardo Arena and drummer Gabriel Villa channel the landscape of LA into their own shapeshifting, idiosyncratic sound, which sometimes takes the form of ‘resistance’ songs, calling for a more inclusive America where migrants stake their equal claim to the land.
